From their first outlet in JB until their 3rd at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara, both gNOMes have been great fans of their Honest Tea. Introducing Malaysia’s first container cafe concept, whereby the kiosk is literally in a container. Beautifully refurbished and giving it a vintage modern look, one can sip tea/coffee and just chill.
We stumbled upon Chaiwalla & Co while busy roaming the streets of Tan Hiok Nee for photography. After many, many shots, then it was rest time. Who doesn’t want a cup of refreshing tea/coffee on a sunny day?
No. 1 Trung Nguyen Vietnamese Coffee. Regular for RM9.80, Large for RM 10.80. Oh, they do have hot regular ones for RM7.80. The coffee was pretty decent. If you have been to Vietnam and long for their coffee, this is worth a try.
Original Thai Milk Tea! Going for regular ones at RM7.80, large at RM8.80, this is our favourite tea! So refreshing on a hot day, sipping this will instantly calm your nerves. The tea base is light and fragrant. Our love at first
sight sip. And oh, we tried their Pure Honey Milk Tea (RM4.80 for regular, RM5.80 for large) too and it was delicious. Why? Cause they don’t skimp on the honey!
We patronize Chaiwalla & Co everytime we land in JB and this time, ta-da!, we don’t have to travel that far anymore for our thai milk tea.
This is their 3rd outlet at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara! We waited anxiously for this to open and finally, we had our thai milk tea on Christmas Day.
Thai Milk Tea it is! And since they just opened, they threw in a free Apple Tea for every purchase! Yays!
Yes we miss you!
The apple tea is pretty decent (RM4.80 for regular, RM5.80 for large). Light, soothing and refreshing.
And oh, if you need a bite, they have it too! From pies, to puffs to brownies, together with your tea/coffee, this makes a good tea break combo. We have yet to try their Chai Latte (RM7.80 for regular, RM8.80 for large) but we promise we will!
One can also customize the sweetness. Need toppings? Pearls? Pudding? Yogurt Pops? Sure, they have it too!
Not interested in the Vietnamese Coffee, Thai Milk Tea or Chai Latte? Go for the Banana, Ice Cream, Yoghurt, Vanilla smoothies/tea then.
Verdict : Thai Milk Tea remains our top favourite. Try it out and let us know what you think!
