The Little Wonton, TTDI

A rather impromptu NOM-ing session with a good colleague/fellow blogger Sharon Loh brought us to this humble, hidden, little eatery in TTDI located amongst the more famous cafes such as Artisan’s, Hoofed, Dukes and Duchess.

Called ‘The Little Wonton’, patrons can definitely expect an array of wontons to delight ones’ palate.

One thing gNOMe 2 loves about this place is that the wontons are all air fried, thus, minimizing the usage of oil, making your wontons healthier. Besides the wontons, this place is also famous for its’ bamboo charcoal noodles.

A rather small bowl of noodles, whichis barely filling. Bamboo charcoal flat noodles, half of a boiled egg, boiled corns with shredded chicken.

Creamy Roasted Sesame (RM6.90). Just imagine a bowl of noodles with Zanmai’s roasted sesame dressing. It was pretty yummy, just a tad too little for gNOMe 2.

Korean Sweet & Spicy (RM6.90). A bowl of rather savoury noodles, slightly sweet, opening ones’ appetite.

Banana Peanut Butter Wontons (RM7.90 for 7 pieces). Air fried wontons that weren’t oily, soft but yet slightly crunchy on the outside. The wontons were not served piping hot, so patrons may immediately dig into ’em upon being served. The fillings were generous, banana pieces intertwined with chunky peanut butter. Oh so yummy!

Mushroom Onion Cheese (RM7.90 for 7 pieces). Mushroom in abundance with onion bits and cream cheese. gNOMe 2 just couldn’t get enough of these! So fresh and fried to perfection. So addictive!

Verdict : Very basic, down to earth good food. Wontons and black charcoal noodles are both delicious. Decor is minimalistic, spotting a rather comfy interior. This is place where gNOMe 2 would pay another visit for a fuss free, guilt free yet healthy meal.
