[Christmas & NYE 2015] Qing Zhen Restaurant, Novotel Kuala Lumpur

A new festive season always brings new cheer, but it also brings a new menu at most restaurants. Christmas time is also a time of eating (and getting fat!). 😛 Novotel is one such hotel embracing the spirit of makan and holiday this Christmas.

A Christmas buffet is available at their in-house Qing Zhen Restaurant, which normally serves Chinese food. The good news is that this year there is Turkey! 😀 Another good news, this buffet is completely halal!

Turkey Carvery

Traditional Roasted Turkey with Rosemary & Cranberry Sauce. No Christmas buffet would be complete without traditional roasted turkey. This one comes with rosemary and raspberry sauce.

  1. I want that turkey. but frankly speaking, I’ve tried lots of roasted turkeys, the best are the ones which are tender and softer than usual. Some I’ve had, they were just too tough to bite into.

  2. It’s been a while since I went to Novotel KL. This Christmas will be celebrated in Ipoh, thus, I’ll be patronising Ipoh establishments for my festive fare.

  3. Christmas Stollen….!! Oh no… I missed out on that… I was suppose to go but had something else on my plate as well… =( I love Ginger bread and Christmas Stollen best during Christmas

  4. Just like you said – it is time for more eating. Hahaha. I want Sliced Roasted Striploin with Fresh Thyme! Luckily I will not be in time during Xmas – if not I will be haunting Novotel too. Hehe.
